Queensland’s leading graphic design college, Designworks, is celebrating the world of design through a unique book project, which brings together the industry’s finest minds with the college’s graduating cohort.
Students of Design1 is a limited-run, hardcover, full-colour title, which profiles internationally acclaimed studios including Studio NEWWORK in New York, Experimental Jetset in Amsterdam, and Mark Gowing Design in Sydney.
The content for the project was created by Designworks’ in-house editorial project, Collective magazine, which profiles the passionate creative community of the Gold Coast.
The 96pp book is printed on a K.W. Doggett Grange Offset 120gsm stock, section sewn and perfect bound, featuring a carefully finished black linen cover.
The foreword for Students of Design1 is crafted by graphic designer Kevin Finn, author of the world-respected journal and ongoing study of graphic design – Open Manifesto.
